Feel the Bern: Point of No Return

I need to admit,  in most of my spare time I read and watch anything about Bernie Sanders progress to earn the Democratic Presidential nomination.  I have watched every single debate and town hall meeting because I can’t wait to hear what he has to say.  He is a man of substance and has a definite vision for a better future for our country.  Sure there are some people who don’t “get” Bernie.  I call those people “Mom”.  She says, “he’s creepy”.  Plus she definitely is not a fan of “free college tuition” because how will people actually value their education if you give it to them free?

“Mom” certainly has a point there especially right now many people not only value their education but they are going into debt for it.  What a great graduation gift: a six figure student loan earning interest.

Today Bernie is not having the strongest showing.  Hillary seems to have garnered more “Super Delegates”.  Can someone please explain to me why “Super Delegates” are necessary?  I am not convinced that Howard Dean should have the authority to throw his votes to the candidate he favors instead of actually representing the people.  Don’t get me started on “Super Delegates”!

I am pretty proud that Bernie Sanders has made such a significant impact on our political discourse and that he continues to force Democrats to actually acknowledge the will of the people.  I believe Bernie can attain the nomination and the next two months will make a huge difference.

It is the point of no return: “Feel the Bern”
